One Adventurer, every role — the classless skill system ships
No classes. Attunement lets one body wield any skill and any weapon, and rebuild freely in the capital. Here's how it actually plays.
The old games were creative — not three buttons and a prebuilt meta. Ront should reward expression and invention.
The first big combat milestone is in: the classless skill system is playable end-to-end. You aren't born into a class. Every Adventurer is Shardbound — attuned to fragments of the broken Singularity — and that bond is the reason one body can hold a tank kit, a magical DPS kit, a healer kit, all of it.
In practice that means you build whoever the war needs right now. Hold a gate as a tank while your faction masses, walk back to your capital to rebind, and march on the enemy Crown Core as a striker. The same character. No alt army, no second account, no spy — one life, one faction, full commitment. That rule isn't just a fairness clause; it's what makes the faction war legible. You always know who someone is.
Every skill now reads the way it fights. The number on the tooltip is the number the server enforces — damage, cost, range, cooldown, the shape of the area it hits. What you see is what the world sees. No hidden modifiers, no drifting meta, no 'the client thought it hit.'
What's next: tuning the role trade-offs so tank, striker, mage, and healer each has a real weakness, not just a different damage number. The goal isn't balance-by-spreadsheet — it's that the role you pick changes how a fight feels, and the role the war needs can change tomorrow.
